General Announcements
Hey Huskies, today is 2nd day for intramural basketball 3 v 3! Hope you brought your tennis shoes and your basketball skills! Brackets are posted at the gym doors and captains have been given schedules. Gather up your team and have fun!
Thank you for your time and for donating blood at our Spring Blood Drive. Together, we helped save 85 lives through your generosity. Seniors who donated are encouraged to apply for an American Red Cross scholarship of up to $1,000. To apply, please see Mrs. McMillan for an application. Requirements include a successful blood donation, a completed application, and a 250–500 word essay on the topic, “Why Blood Donation is Important.”
All materials must be submitted to Mrs. McMillan by the end of today, March 27.

Clean out your clutter! The Junior Class Post Prom parents are taking Goodwill donations now through APRIL 8th. There will be bins in all 3 Northwestern school buildings! Thank you for your support!
The HS Spring Musical will be this Friday and Saturday evenings, March 27 & 28 @ 7pm and there will be a 2pm performance on Sunday, March 29.
Spring Break for Northwestern Local Schools will run from March 30-April 3rd.
NHS 2026 End-of-Couse Testing Schedule
Tuesday/April 14 – English 2
Wednesday/April 15 – English 2
Tuesday/April 21 – Biology
Wednesday/April 22 – US History/Government
Tuesday/April 28 – Algebra 1/Geometry
Wednesday/April 29 – Algebra 1/Geometry
Classes will be run on a 2-hour delay schedule on all test dates.
Non-testing students will need to arrive by 9:20am. Students being tested should arrive by 7:15am.
Open Enrollment applications are now available for the 26 – 27 school year. Applications are due APRIL 15.
School fees are past due! We kindly request that all outstanding balances be settled as soon as possible. If you need clarification of your student fees, please contact the school office.
If you have not done so, please complete the FinalForms for your student(s) for this school year. Parents of returning students should have received a link in their email to complete this. There is also a link available on our website.
Any student that filled out a parking permit application on Final Forms and did not receive one yet, please stop in at the front office and get your hang tag. Parking tags are to be kept in your vehicle.
Student Services Announcements
Attention students who will be juniors or seniors in the 2026-2027 school year: An email was sent to you yesterday with a survey regarding a possible class that we will be offering next year. Please respond as soon as possible, so that we can plan for next year.
If you are planning to take CCP classes next year and have not filled out your application to the college, please come by the library to see Mrs. Laeng during your academic assist or lunch period to get instructions and assistance completing that.
Attention Seniors: Scholarship season has begun! You should be checking the Student Services website regularly for new scholarships that are being added on the spreadsheet. Keep in mind that this is likely the only time in your life that you can ask nicely and jump through a few hoops to have someone hand you money! Take advantage of the opportunity while you have it. Most scholarships have very strict deadlines, so be sure to pay attention to those dates.
