General Announcement
Intramural Cornhole starts TODAY!!
Today's games are just a warm-up or friendly to get your skills fine-tuned and ready for competition. Find your team # on the list and then look at the schedule for your game time and board assignment.
Much effort goes into planning these intramural events. We ask each of you for your cooperation in making this cornhole tournament run smoothly and without incident. Please note these items:
- Please arrive at your board at least 2 minutes early!
- Know the rules and playing procedures.
- Both teams are responsible for tracking the score using cancelation scoring.
- If your teammate is absent, please find a substitute that is not already on another team.
- If both players are absent, that will result in a forfeit.
- No horse play will be tolerated.
- At the end of your game, please report the winner to Mrs. Becker or her assistant.
- While tennis shoes are not required for this event, please remove any boots or hard-soled shoes while in the gym.
- All food and drink should be kept in the cafeteria.

Monday/Feb. 9 – Camo Day/We can’t camouflage our love for our school!
Tuesday/Feb. 10 – Out of this World Day/Our love for NHS is out of this world! Wear space related gear
Wednesday/Feb. 11- Family Photo Day/We love our NHS family! Gather a group of friends
and dress in complimentary outfits as if you were matching for a family
photo.
Thursday/Feb. 12 We LOVE our school day/We love our school! Wear Valentine colors!
School fees are past due! We kindly request that all outstanding balances be settled as soon as possible. If you need clarification of your student fees, please contact the school office.
Parent/Teacher conferences will be held at the HS this Wednesday, February 11 from 3-6:30pm. No appointments necessary. All are welcome.
Academic Awards & National Honor Society Induction has been rescheduled for March 3 @ 6:30pm in the high school auditorium.
If you have not done so, please complete the FinalForms for your student(s) for this school year. Parents of returning students should have received a link in their email to complete this. There is also a link available on our website.
Any student that filled out a parking permit application on Final Forms and did not receive one yet, please stop in at the front office and get your hang tag. Parking tags are to be kept in your vehicle.
Student Services Announcements
All Juniors will be taking the ACT on February 24, 2026. There will be no late arrival for juniors that day; you will be expected to be at school to test beginning first period.
We will be offering an optional ACT test for all grade levels on April 21st. You must sign up in the guidance office by February 16th if you plan to test. The cost of the test is $55.
Attention Seniors: Scholarship season has begun! You should be checking the Student Services website regularly for new scholarships that are being added on the spreadsheet. Keep in mind that this is likely the only time in your life that you can ask nicely and jump through a few hoops to have someone hand you money! Take advantage of the opportunity while you have it. Most scholarships have very strict deadlines, so be sure to pay attention to those dates.
